Google Calendar
Google Calendar is a virtual calendar where you can add events on days. You can also connect it with your friends and family and put events on the calendar so all of them can see it. This is perfect for someone who has a busy summer schedule and they need rides from their parents. They can put their event on the day that they need and then their parent can see it. No more misunderstandings!
Google Hangout
Google Hangout is a video chat where you can chat up to 9 other people. You can show the other people in your hangout your screen so they can see what your doing. You can also play games with each other over the video chat.
Google Voice
Google Voice is a service that connects all your phones to one number. It takes any number that you verify and gives it a new number. So, say you have your home phone, cell phone, and work phone all connected in Google Voice, and you're waiting for a call. Instead of giving that person all three of your numbers, you can just give them one number that will ring all of your numbers.

Even More Web Tools
Today we looked around on Teach Web 2 for web tools. I found Adobe online picture editor. It allows you to upload a picture and edit it. Like take out red-eyes or photo bombs for free.
The second tool I found was a cube search engine. It is a like a rubriks cube where there are different pictures on different blocks.
Web Tools
SuperTeacherTools is a website that has a bunch of teaching tools and games. It
has a random fact generator, which is also my favorite item.Class Tools is like SuperTeacherTools, but it is more of a game website. My favorite game on that site was the FakeBook game where you can make a fake facebook from a template.

iGoogle
iGoogle is a website that lets you add bookmarks all in one place. It has endless amounts of gadgets. Anything from games/humor to news and weather. Here are some gadgets I added to my profile;
The weather gadget automatically adds your location, and gives you a three day forecast. The second gadget I added was Famous Optical Illusions. I added this because it's always interesting to see what the eye can and can't distinguish. The last gadget I added was Turtles. It's just a couple of turtles swimming around in a little virtual tank.

Flash Vortex and Glowtxt
Glowtxt is one of the two websites that we visited today where you can make animated text generators. It has many templates you can choose from, and many colors. You can make the text outlined or make it flash.
FlashVortex is the other animated text generator we visited. I personally like this website much better. It is more organized and you can edit much more than Glowtxt. Glowtxt is still a very good website, but if you want to edit your animated text more, and fine tune things I would definitely choose Flash Vortex.

Google Tricks
Google doesn't just have an answer to anything, it can also do some cool things. Like if you type in "do a barrel roll", the page will do a barrel roll. Also, if you type in Google Sphere, it will have all of the little side options revolve around google.
The last trick I am going to tell you is that if you type in "What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything". The answer comes up as 42.

Blogging on the iPad
The iPad version is very user friendly. It allows you to access all of your blog posts very easily and edit them fast. Although it may be more user friendly, it is not as in-depth as the computer version. On the computer version you can edit everything down to the colors of the punctuation marks. For quick easy posts I would most certainly choose the iPad for the simplicity of it. But if you wanted to edit your colors and template I would use the computer so you can go more in-depth. Overall I still like computer version better than the iPad version just because I started out with the computer, but I think overtime I will enjoy the iPad version more.

The calendar gadget lets you know the date and year.
The world clock tells you the time of places on the other side of the earth and other places.
